Publishing Submissions
HEX Publishing is looking for zine submissions with striking visual aesthetics, illustrations and designs. All genres are considered, with a preference towards artistic narratives with diverse perspective. We also prefer to read works that require very little tweaking to prepare for publishing, but will work with an artist/author if the story appeals to us.
For the time being we only publish zines, so please do not send us your full book manuscript. We also currently only print black and white interiors, with color covers, so keep that in mind for your submissions. If you have submitted your work to another publisher for consideration, please let us know at the time of your submission to HEX.
We accept submissions for publishing in two ways, digitally through email (PDF preferred), or by snail mail. If your submission is of interest to us, we will contact you - submissions will not be returned.

Distro Submissions
Already have a zine that you want to get into a few more hands? Then submit your zine to HEX for distro purposes. HEX will distribute almost any kind of independently produced project, be it zines, music, comics, books, etc.
All distro items are taken on consignment, with a 60/40 split (60% to consignee, 40% to HEX).
HEX only accepts distro inquiries digitally. Email all distro inquiries to [email protected], using “Distro Submission” as the subject line.
If HEX is interested in distributing your item, we will let you know. Please do not send us items without prior confirmation.
